NOTE:  A one time participation fee of $1,975 per property may also be required.  Please contact the office at (864) 472-2858  to inquire about the fee in your area.

How to get your tap installed as quickly as possible:

1. Ensure that the Inman-Campobello Water District (ICWD) provided flag has been placed and remains obviously visible to accurately depict the desired meter location.

2. For water taps to be made in housing developments, the stub out marker must be in place and it must accurately depict the location of the stub out.

3. All equipment, materials, and anything else that could block ICWD’s access to the property must be moved well away from the tap area so that we can perform the necessary work to install the water connection.

4. Make sure that after the other utilities have been located, no one disturbs or removes the marks/flags. Much of the time, ICWD crews will attempt to install a water tap, but cannot for one of the above reasons. Because of the number of tap installations currently needed, ICWD must be as efficient as possible. Therefore, when an ICWD crew arrives at a site to install a tap and can’t, that installation will be moved to the bottom of this list and the ICWD will install the next available one instead. ICWD strongly encourages anyone whose pending tap is approaching the top of the list, to make sure the property is actually ready for the ICWD so there is no delay and avoid the $100 fee that was agreed to on the original tap application.
