NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING INMAN-CAMPOBELLO WATER DISTRICT OPERATING BUDGET FOR YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2027
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the management of the Inman-Campobello Water District at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026. The hearing will be held at the office of the Inman-Campobello Water District, which is located at 5 Prospect St. in Inman. The purpose of the public hearing will be to allow members of the public to express their views regarding the proposed operating budget for the
Inman-Campobello Water District for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027. All persons who attend the public hearing will be given an opportunity to speak.
As required by Section 6-1-80, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, the public is advised of the following:
- The current budget of the Inman-Campobello Water District for the 2026 Fiscal Year includes revenues of $13,845,785 and expenditures of $13,845,785.
- The budget of the Inman-Campobello Water District for the 2027 Fiscal Year calls for revenues of $13,845,785 and expenditures of $13,845,785 which represents a 0.0 % increase in revenues and a 0.0% increase in expenditures.
- The proposed budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027 of the Inman-Campobello Water District does not include a volumetric rate increase to meet operational needs or for the reduction of debt of the Inman-Campobello Water District. However, the minimum monthly bill is proposed to increase from $26.82 to $27.82.
- The proposed budget does not include any tax millage to be levied during the fiscal year to meet operational needs or for the reduction of debt of the Inman-Campobello Water District.
- The Inman-Campobello Water District has not levied taxes since 1981.
